The online virtual session was great. I could sit comfortably at home and get the full classroom experience. I had my own gear to hand so I could follow along with everything the trainer  said in real time and ask questions related to my own camera. I learned a lot and will happily sign up again.

David LarkinAll About Lenses Session

These on-line classroom sessions from the DPS are amazing. I’ve been on a few courses previously (not with the DPS team) but have learnt more in these one hour sessions than I learnt in several days on other course. Stewart is a fabulous instructor. He’s happy to share all of his techniques and ‘tricks of the trade’ with students, and it’s all put across in an easily understood style. I’ve been taking photographs since I was 10 years old (now 68!), and am delighted to have participated in these sessions to improve my technique.

Alan Lush Lenses Made Clear & Histograms Explained Session

I have taken a few on-line or virtual classes with DPS and I have to admit they are just like being in the same room with the tutor. The classroom is set up that everybody can see everybody else and there is great interaction between the tutor and students. As you are sitting at home you are in your own environment, yet you are also participating in a classroom event on a subject that is very interesting. The session is very straight forward, easy to follow and the tutor explains everything you need to know. I have booked four of these classroom sessions on subjects such as Lens Made Clear, Histograms, Black and White Photography and Street Photography. I would highly recommend a virtual classroom because they offer great value for money, are excellent insights into the chosen subject and the tutor is an expert on his subject.

Derek Cassidy Lenses Made Clear, Street Photography & Black & Whie 101 Sessions

I never thought I’d be doing online photography classes. I didn’t think it was possible. But, Dublin Photography School proved me wrong. I’ve completed several of their newly developed online classes over the last few weeks and I must have enjoyed them because I’ve more booked for the coming weeks.
The online nature of the classes means they are more theory based than a traditional photography class, but there is always an explanation or demonstration on how to apply the theory, meaning there’s loads of new tricks to try once we’re all back outside shooting again.
